May 21, 2026, Geneva – Dr. Lou Jianrong, General Manager of LDEBIO, attended a tuberculosis innovation side event held today during the World Health Assembly (WHA). The event was jointly organized by the Stop TB Partnership (a hosted organization of the United Nations) and the Peking University School of Public Health, under the theme: "Chinese Innovations for Tuberculosis – From Technology Landscape to Global Impact."
During the event, Dr. Lou engaged in in-depth discussions with global tuberculosis program experts, research institution representatives, and leaders of several Chinese innovative enterprises, focusing on the promotion and implementation of innovative TB technologies. This participation marks the first time that Chinese innovation has truly entered the global core system of tuberculosis response.
